The types of information requested from you and the manner in which that information is collected and assessed are determined by the requirements of the country in which the position is located, and not the country in which you reside.

Subject to the restrictions described below, any information about you which is obtained by Heights during the recruiting process may be retained by Heights for purposes of considering your qualifications for employment, as well as for more general management and research purposes. Where permitted by applicable law, this information may include a limited amount of information of a sensitive nature that is, information about your racial or ethnic origin, health and/or criminal record. Heights may send your information to a department or office other than the one in which you may have initially been interested in obtaining employment. This may include a department or office located anywhere in the world where Heights’s worldwide organization does business from time to time. If Heights does not employ you, Heights may nevertheless retain and use this information so as to be able to consider your qualifications later if a suitable position becomes available and, if appropriate, refer back to this if you submit a resume or other information to Heights again in the future, as well as for more general management and research purposes and to invite you to join the Heights Talent Connection. For the purposes of inviting you to join the Heights Talent Connection we may transfer your basic contact information to our Heights Talent Connection database. Once you join the Heights Talent Connection, you will receive information about Heights, invitations to events and/ or receive information regarding job opportunities that may be relevant to your skills. If you choose not to join the Heights Talent Connection, we will remove your information from the Heights Talent Connection database, except for minimum details to note that you opted out and so avoid contacting you again about the Heights Talent Connection. This will not affect the retention of your information on the Recruitment system database for the purposes set out above.

Please note that all hiring decisions are made exclusively by the entity which will ultimately employ any successful candidates.

The ways in which Heights collects and uses personal data, including your rights of access to and correction of your personal data, are regulated by Heights’s Data Privacy Policy 90. A copy of this Policy is available upon request through the Heights Career Home page by selecting the ‘Contact Us’ link.

The personal information you supply on the local profile form will only be made available to the Heights recruiters that are recruiting for that country and others in that country who may interview you. That personal information will not be made available to Heights recruiters (or others) recruiting outside that country, unless you have consented or in accordance with Heights’s Data Privacy Policy and applicable local data privacy laws. Heights will retain your personal information only for as long as it is needed, in accordance with Heights’s Data Privacy Policy and the provisions of applicable law.

If you do not wish to answer any questions on the local profile form, you may opt out of completing your profile. Requisition requirements vary by country please feel free to submit your information to another requisition.

Additional personal information you supply for administrative purposes related to the interview process (e.g. recruit reimbursement expenses) will be shared with only those who are involved in the process and have a need to know. As Heights does business in many different countries, this may involve transfer and storage of your data to other countries in which Heights operates where this is necessary to perform the needed business activity. Heights has taken steps to ensure your personal data is protected, held and used securely and in accordance with data privacy laws and Heights Policy 90 – Data Privacy.

With your permission and subject to the provisions of applicable law, Heights may verify your details or request information about you from other sources such as referees and Heights personnel. Heights will review the employment records of former Heights employees as part of the recruitment process, where legally permissible.

Heights does not accept unsolicited resumes from 3rd party recruitment agencies without a written agreement in place for permanent placements. Any resume or other candidate information submitted outside of established candidate submission guidelines (including through the Careers website or via email to any Heights employee) and without a written agreement otherwise will be deemed to be the sole property of Heights, and no fee will be paid should the candidate be hired by Heights.

By submitting your information, you acknowledge that all representations made by you are true and correct to the best of your knowledge and belief, and you have not knowingly omitted any related information. You understand that any inaccurate information may make you ineligible for employment.

By submitting your information, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the foregoing and consent to the uses of your information as set out above.

You may read this Statement at any time by logging into the system with your user name and password.

It is a condition of using this system that you maintain the confidentiality of this username/password and you are not permitted to share your username/password with others.
